1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and scripts, store or read information on your device in comparable ways. In this Cookie Policy, "cookies" includes these similar technologies. First-party cookies are set by the Sites themselves; third-party cookies are set by providers that act on our behalf.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to run the Sites, keep you signed in, remember your settings, understand how the Sites are used and, on ferratalabs.ai, follow up with visitors who contact us. We use an opt-out approach: Performance and analytics, and Marketing, start when you arrive, and you can turn them off at any time.

3. Categories and Purposes

3.1 Essential. These cookies are necessary for the Sites to function and cannot be turned off. They include your sign-in session, security protections, your cookie settings and interface preferences such as whether a side menu is collapsed. They do not track you across other websites.

3.2 Performance and Analytics. These cookies collect a pseudonymous device identifier, pages visited, referring page, browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address (such as city, region and country) and timestamps. The tag management service that loads our analytics may itself receive your IP address and browser information. When you turn this category off, these tags stop loading.

3.3 Marketing. On ferratalabs.ai, these cookies collect a visitor identifier, pages viewed, referring page, form submissions and any email address you provide, so that we can recognize returning visitors and follow up on inquiries. Our product sites do not use Marketing cookies.

3.4 No Advertising Pixels. We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Your Choices

4.1 Cookie Settings. Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page, or Settings in the banner, and switch Performance and analytics or Marketing off or on, then choose Save settings. When you turn a category off, we stop its tags, remove the cookies we can remove from your browser, and keep the category off on later visits on that browser.

4.2 One Choice Across the Sites. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie that applies across ferratalabs.ai and our product sites on the same browser.

4.3 Browser Controls. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you delete our cookies, your choice is lost and optional tracking starts again on your next visit, unless you turn it off again or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Blocking Essential cookies may stop parts of the Sites from working, including sign-in.

5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of Performance and analytics and Marketing, we do not load those tags, and the page displays: "Your browser sent a privacy signal, so we turned off optional tracking." We also treat Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We treat Do Not Track signals the same way.

6. Who Receives Cookie Data

While a category is on, the providers in that category receive data about your visit, including your IP address, as any online service you connect to does. They act on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of the data. We name a provider only where the law requires it. See Section 11 of our Privacy Policy for the categories of recipients.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with its last updated date, and where a change affects your choices, we will ask you again.
