The agents
Six agents. Each owns a piece of finance work end to end.
Not assistants that summarize your ledger and hand the work back. Each of these runs a real workflow inside your own systems, does what a person would have done, and stops before anything that cannot be undone.
What an agent is, in plain terms.
The word gets used loosely enough to mean almost nothing. Here is what it means here.
It does the work
A chatbot tells you which invoices look wrong. An agent opens them, checks each one against the purchase order and the goods receipt, posts the ones that match, and puts the rest in front of a person with the reason already attached.
It works inside your systems
Not beside them. It reads and writes to SAP, NetSuite or Dynamics directly, against live tables rather than an export somebody remembered to run on Monday.
It stops before anything irreversible
Every one of them drafts up to the point where money moves, spend is committed or a customer is contacted. Then it waits.
What each one is for.
One line each, in terms of what changes for the business rather than what the software does.
Sterling
Working capitalCash comes in sooner, because the right accounts get chased in the right order every morning rather than whenever someone finds the time.Cash position, collections and receivables riskHow Sterling works →Clark
PayablesYou stop paying twice, and you stop paying for what was never agreed. Invoices arrive, get checked against the contract as well as the purchase order, and post the same day.Invoice capture, matching and posting into the ERPHow Clark works →Tally
ReconciliationThe close stops being a scramble. Breaks surface on the day they happen rather than in the week you are trying to sign the numbers off.Sub-ledger to GL, continuously rather than at closeHow Tally works →Chandler
ProcurementYou stop paying above the price you agreed. Every quote is compared on the same terms, and suppliers are held to the schedule they signed.RFQ to PO, negotiation and price complianceHow Chandler works →Swift
Order managementCustomer orders stop waiting to be typed up. A purchase order that lands overnight is a sales order by morning, with only real exceptions held back.Customer POs into clean sales ordersHow Swift works →Quill
Quotes & CRMNo enquiry goes cold while somebody builds a quote. Every one is priced against your rules and waiting in the CRM for a rep to check and send.Inbound enquiries priced and drafted in the CRMHow Quill works →Where every one of them stops.
None of these agents is trusted on day one, and none of them is asked to be. Each works to a queue that a person releases, and earns its way out of that queue on the workflows where it has been right often enough to stop being checked. The ones that touch cash, spend or a customer never leave it.
Every agent stops at an approval gate until it has earned its way out of one. Nothing releases cash, commits spend or touches a customer without a person saying so.
None of these arrive as a template.
The six names describe the shape of the work, not a product you switch on. What makes each one yours is the part no vendor can ship.
Your rules, not ours
Your pricing logic, your approval thresholds, your escalation paths and the reasons you treat one customer differently from another. That logic is your advantage and it stays yours.
Your systems as they actually are
Including the fields somebody repurposed in 2019, the customer master that disagrees with itself, and the workflow that only makes sense once you know who used to run it.
Built in your environment
On the platform stood up inside your tenancy, against your data, with your identity and your audit trail. Nothing is rented back to you afterwards.
Your agents are built around your organization.
The way you price, route, approve and escalate is years of accumulated judgment, and it's a real advantage. It belongs to you and it stays with you, we're not asking you to hand over your playbook or fit yourself into someone else's template. We start from how your business already works, encode that logic into agents built for your environment, and leave you with an operation that runs faster with exactly the things that make you good at it still intact.
Bring us one workflow.
Thirty minutes, no deck. Pick the process that costs you most in people, errors or delay, and we'll pressure-test whether an agent is genuinely the right answer for it.
- An honest read on whether that workflow is a good agent candidate
- What the first deployment would involve, and roughly what it costs
- An honest answer if the sequencing is wrong and you should fix something else first
